Blanca Rosa

Blanca Rosa Rasmussen is a Spanish-Danish artist born in Beijing in 1994. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, and previously studied at the Leith School of Art in Edinburgh. Shaped by her cross-cultural background, Blanca Rosa’s work reflects a poetic dialogue between reality and imagination. Her paintings merge the surreal and the dreamlike, revealing layered narratives that traverse femininity, human connection, and the emotional landscapes of childhood and adolescence.

Through intricate symbolism and a visual language rooted in surrealism and magic realism, she constructs worlds that balance delicacy with psychological depth. Each piece becomes a meditation on identity, memory, and the universal process of growing up.
